D&M PSS (150Mio Euro, 2000 people) with global B2B sales offices and 8 dev,
Manufacturing sites was formed out of Philips at the end of 2006 by a spin -out .
PSS is top 5 in loudspeakers/amplifiers for the Automotive Industry (eg BMW) and leading
in premium docking systems for High End Consumer Electronics (eg B&O).

Achievements::-Changed the business strategy from European centric to truly Global
- Changed the business from commodity driven to innovation based
- Inspired the total organization to implement the change with a big passion
- Grew the business with approx 6-8% /y by expanding with new customers
- Improved the EBIT results from 2% to 10% by margin improvement
- Led the selling-off project to sell PSS to D&M in 2006
- Built excellent relationships with private equity shareholders

PSS Europe (PSS: 70 Mio Euro, 700people) had 3 factories in Belgium, Hungary, Ukraine

Philips RCS was a 200 Mio Euro independent global BU within Philips with manufacturing sites in Europe, Mexico, Indonesia and China

Achievements: -Defined and implemented the Global strategy by adding China
Subcontractors and by standardizing processes and procedures in all factories
-Introduced EFQM processes and achieved award

Global Purchasing Mgr Philips Remote Control Systems - Louvain 1996 – 2000

Achievements: -Defined and implemented Global sourcing strategies
-Reduced the worldwide supplier base leading to cost reductions of 10-12%/y
-Restructured the purchasing organization to make it global minded

Operations Manager Customer Centre Philips Matsushita Battery - Tessenderlo 1994 – 1996

PMBC was a 50/50 JV between Philips and Panasonic and produced 1 Bio primary and
rechargeable batteries per year. The CC centre was the packaging division with 125
employees

Achievements: -Improved P/L by automating many packaging lines and by outsourcing
manual work to low cost providers
-Achieved excellent delivery performance towards Retail customers with lead
times of less than 5 days by managing all points in the chain
-Implemented Empowerment for direct and indirect staff (Mini-Companies)
-Led major investment projects for the 2 shareholders in the CC
-Was selected as Philips Quality Award Auditor

Product Dev Manager/International Project manager Hifi Philips Audio - Louvain 1989 – 1994

Philips Audio in Louvain was the advanced audio development centre
Achievements: -Was in charge of the Europe-Asia projects and led a group of 26 engineers
-Defined structural development procedures and design rules between Europe
and manufacturing in Asia
