PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2006 – Present: Thales Nederland, Director HR & Communication

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the HR & communications function with a team of 60 for a company of 2100 employees in the Netherlands
• Responsible for developing and implementing Thales group policies as member of HR excom of the group (top 20 HR)
• Responsible for a budget of €10 mln.

Major accomplishments:
• Introduced a new recruitment shared services model for Thales Netherlands responsible for 150 -200 recruitments on an annual basis. This new insourced recruitment structure has been implemented in all European countries.
• Introduced a new appraisal system, which has been implemented globally through the Thales organization.
• Re-organized the top management within Thales Nederland, and structured a new executive team in cooperation with the MD.
• Introduced new C&B cafeteria model
• Organized Management Development with a team of Learning Advisors.


2003 – 2006: Ernst & Young, Associate Director HR

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the operational HR function on behalf of 1.600 professionals in the area of accountancy and tax with a team of 26 HR professionals in a complex partner environment
• Responsible for corporate social responsibility

Major accomplishments:
• Introduced a new appraisal system
• Provided training to newly appointed managers in accountancy, tax advisors and lawyers on a European level
• Managed Several large European projects on compensation and benefits, training and development

2000 – 2003: PinkRoccade Public, Business Unit Director

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the sales of integrated IT systems to various governmental institutions and ministries.
• Revenue (€30 mln) and P&L responsibility with a team, consisting of account managers, contract managers, business consultants, and project managers (160 employees)

Major accomplishments:
• Introduced multi level selling approach and single point of contact for customers
• Build up account management structure through dedicated account and contract managers
• Increased revenues from 20 to 30 mln in 2 years


1999: Medicover Sp. Z o.o., Warsaw, Country Managing Director

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the development and sales of private medical healthcare through clinics situated mainly in the large cities in Poland
• Revenue (€ 35 mln) and P&L responsibility with an organization of 200 headcount

Major accomplishments:
• Doubled revenues, had positive bottom line results (for the first time since the start of the company in 1994) and headcount grew from 200 to 450 through two specific measures:
o Introduction of regional structure with a dedicated sales force and clear responsibilities
o Increased coverage through small private clinics in 24 mid-sized cities
• Project management for opening clinics in Hungary, Estonia and Romania
• Organized press conferences

1989 – 1999: Philip Morris, Outsourcing and Facilities Director, Krakow

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all facilities with a team of 250 employees, divided over 4 factories
• Responsible for Union contacts specifically related to outsourcing projects

Major accomplishments:
 Large Outsourcing projects specifically in the area of facilities (catering, cleaning, security, and others).
 Coaching of central European HR teams (Czech, Hungarian, Rumanian, Turkish) and supporting local HR Professionals
 Project management factory closure in Oswiecim
 Negotiated and signed commercial contracts with service providers
 Negotiations with local government on factory revamp and extension
