D15-FA1: - COMPLETED
Based in The Hague to drive the execution from the initial FEED concept, concluding at EPIC award. Responsible for the preparation of all EPC & T&I Tender Contracts, Partner approvals, unitization agreements, Project Sanction thru to eventual Project Award and subsequent development, installation and start-up of the D15-FA-1 gas field.

L8-P4: - Completed May 2001
Responsible for the development of the L8-P4 gas field, responsibility details as above

Both of these projects are in excess of 100 MM. For which I have full project management and budget responsibility, and total accountability for the execution of the project.

Sound knowledge of UK and European Government policies and legislation, in particular significant in-depth knowledge of Dutch legislation.


1995 - 1997: AMOCO (UK) EXPLORATION COMPANY
PROJECT MANAGER

Responsible for the development of `new concepts’ Southern North Sea Marginal Fields
Reporting to the Projects General Manager for the initiation of feasibility, concept, design and eventual fabrication & installation for new SNS marginal fields using innovative technology.

Total budget responsibility and negotiation authority with all third parties, responsible for interfacing with, and seeking approvals from Regulatory and Government Bodies.


1994 - 1995: SHELL U.K. EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION
PROJECT MANAGER

Assigned to the Barque PB Revamp - de-manning Project to drive the execution of all activities associated with the rationalisation of the SFU Leman Gas Field Project

Responsible for the development and progress options from feasibility, thru implementation, ensuring budget and project schedules are met by proposing cost-effective strategies employing \"brown field\" philosophy. Based on the original Technical and Feasibility Studies, responsible for the preparation of the Basis of Conceptual, and subsequent Detailed Designs, development of appropriate strategies Ensuring Project reviews are correctly applied, and the most cost effective offshore implementation followed

Responsible for the review of: Engineering design, & development of the Topsides facilities.
Management of the Engineering Contractors during conceptual/detailed design, & follow-on engineering.
Preparation for, and participation in, Technical Audits acting as facilitator, Presenting development strategies to the Health and Safety Executive, and seeking approvals from the Department of Trade and Industry.
Overall responsibility for developing and monitoring both the Engineering and Construction budget based on \"Business Unit\" Management


1992 - 1994: ELF PETROLAND B.V. DEN HAAG NETHERLANDS
COMPANY / PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE

Assigned to the Development of the K5A K5P & K5D Gas Field Project which features a 3 Well two platform central complex consisting of drilling, riser and production platforms, and the installation of a 12\" rough gas line linked to a satellite platform

Based in the Engineering Design Consultants office to Project Manage the Engineering Design Consultants Project Team performance on a \"fast track\" contract with respect to the Engineering Philosophy, Studies, Detailed Design, Installation and Hook-up Scope.
Responsible for the Consultants workscope including technical review and approval of all Engineering design documentation, progress and quality.

Total budget responsibility based on \"Business Unit\" management for the Design, Execute and implementation phases of the development including negotiations of Variation to scope, preparation and close-out
Technical review of Call for Tender Documents for the award of the fabrication contract.
Approval / verification of all Vendor documentation for Company supplied LLI
Preparation and approval of dossiers for licence application to relevant Government Authorities
Safety studies including HAZOP review/recommendations

PROJECT / CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - ONSHORE TERMINAL

Assigned to the Central Area Transmission System (CATS) Onshore Terminal Construction, Seal Sands Teesside which is the receiving and metering station for the Central Graben Gas Gathering Complex

Based initially in the Engineering Design Contractors office responsible for the Technical review and approval of all Engineering documentation prior to mobilisation to the Construction site. Responsible for the development and construction of the onshore receiving, metering and control facilities from a \"green field\" site.
Overall responsibility for the Contractor during the construction, installation, testing and commissioning phases of the Terminal facilities including the installation of 36\" CATS pipeline
Onshore pre and post commission and offshore subsea tie-in to the Amoco Everest and Lomond Riser Platforms to bring the plant on-stream. Responsible for the Selection and approval of all Sub Contractors and Vendors Negotiation and approval of design and subsequent construction changes
Total budget responsibility for both Engineering and Construction, and negotiation of variation costs

Assigned to the \"Scott Field\" Development based in the Engineering Design Office, London.
Management of the Engineering Design Contractor for all design and development related work associated with a \"fast track\" EPIC Contract for Subsea Manifolds, Pipelines, Substructures & Topsides

Based initially in the Engineering Design Contractors office responsible for the review and approval of all Engineering drawings and specifications prior to mobilisation to the Construction Site for the Bacton Phase II Terminal Expansion Project.

Responsible for the re-development and construction of the onshore receiving, metering and control facilities on a \"brown field\" site. Control and management of the Project from bid evaluation through selection of main contractor including construction, site supervision/manpower onshore test and pre-commissioning. Post-commissioning, site compilations and Project close out.

Scheduling offsite equipment for the development of site facilities, construction of roll-on/roll-off jetty in preparation for heavy lift items, and transportation to site.
