Work Experience

Career foundations in the instrumentation and control sector (industrial, broadcast and aerospace), development into medical devices and related recording systems, and later moving into manufacturing services. Extensive experience of working with distributed sales teams and representation, including Japan, USA, Europe, Scandinavia and SE Asia. Familiarity with orthopedics, certain aspects (mobility related) and other medical and rehabilitation disciplines.

A hands-on, entrepreneurial, problem solver with a ready to go library of experience and methodologies that can be used as appropriate and broad experience of developing sales action plans in a diverse range of industries.

• 2 Years consultancy and interim management experience including the development of sales forces, monitoring and implementation of KPI systems.

• 14 years commercial and technical experience in the instrumentation and control (OEM) sector - including Directorship within Spirent Plc – ranging over medical devices, electromechanical components and assemblies etc.

• Ongoing consultancy work on “Winning Business” initiatives which develops skills and experience in team building, developing and implementing sales plans, and always establishing suitable metrics.

• 7 Years commercial success in the outsourced manufacturing services arena – frequently involved with VC backed new ventures.
