2003 - 04 CAROUSEL (Agency)
Position: Interim Trainer/Assessor
Working with unemployed and special needs students for Camden Information Technology College training and assessing students in Information Technology and helping them to gain a qualification.

2003 - 03 ASSA LTD WASHINGTON, TYNE & WEAR (Based in Kent)
Position: Project Manager/Leader.
Working with Delphi Diesel Pumps. Project manager, setting up and delivering training for Kaizem, Standard Operations, Tools, EMPTA, PLMO NVQ and Warehousing in the south of England. Managing staff, negotiating with customers, planning and delivering courses to staff and senior management including; advise, guidance and induction, health and safety procedures, customer service and care. Working on LSC contracts.

Managing and training vocational courses including; accountancy, information technology, customised training, administration, retail, customer care and service, business skills, soft skills, ESOL. Induction training for tutors and internal verifying courses.

2002 - 2002 CIRCA (Agency) BROMLEY KENT
Position: Interim Manager, Trainer, Internal Verifier and Assessor.
Managing the Qualification and Curriculum Authority (QCA) learning and development national vocational sector. Giving support to staff, including setting up support sessions for members of staff, induction training for new assessor/candidates and modern apprentices in Admin, Customer Service, Health & Safety, Information and Technology, Management, Key Skills and soft skills. CIPD Assessor and Internal Verifier Award (A and V units). Writing centre policy and up dating centre paperwork and data. Mentoring and coaching candidates. Writing and delivering programmes; including time management, problem solving, health & safety etc. Making sure that the quality assurance was in place. Assessed and achieved the first Admin NVQ for the QCA NVQ centre.

1997 - 2002 PARAMOUNT TRAINING SERVICES LONDON
Position: Area Manager,Trainer/Assessor, Internal Verifier.
Setting up NVQ centre, writing and putting in place NVQ paperwork. Trainer and verifier for the Ministry of Defense, Tourist Board, Co-op and other national companies in aspects of retail, management, key skills, health & safety at work, soft skills, TDLB awards working with the employed and unemployed delivering Tec and FEFC contracts.

. Working on TEC contracts with employed and the unemployed in retail, warehouse information technology, business admin and health and safety in the construction sector.


Education

Designed and delivered project to train staff of W H Smith and the Body Shop Franchise, to become customer service advisors. Wrote and delivered all courses which included induction, health & safety, customer care and service etc.

Additional Information:

Prior to 1987 employed as an area manager for leisure-wear manufacture and retail organization. Training staff, including recruiting, induction, sales, customer service and care, health and safety awareness soft skills.

I maintain my skills and keep them up to date as required by Awarding Bodies and QCA.
