Max is an expert in advising companies on how they can turnaround underperforming system projects. Max is a systems and change management specialist who has worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and KPMG on numerous occasions and they are extremely pleased to be able to engage his services in their Information Risk and IT Advisory division.

Role on the engagement
Max has a wealth of global experience in Application Systems and is an expert in "Turn -around" solutions for complex change management projects. Max performs often the change management role and program management lead role for complex project engagements. Max will apply his vast experience to plan, review and analyse planning schedules and program solutions, as well as the change environment considering potential impact that can lead to deviation and provides alternatives.

Max has significant experience of the concerns of Executive Management and will apply this experience to the benefit of any client.

Relevant experience
Max has over 20 years of experience with IS/IT, gained from corporate and big-5 consultancy experience with KPMG, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Arthur Andersen/Accenture. In addition to performing key roles on approximately 60 system projects for many leading (and global) organisations, Max has found time to contribute several chapters of seven (7) books about SAP (including the best seller "Using SAP R/3") and he is the co-author of what is today the Standard ASAP Methodology.

Starting out as a counselor, Max grew into consultancy and team leadership and furthered himself into project manager roles. Max was the practice leader for consultancy firms Coopers & Lybrand and Arthur Andersen Business Consulting (in South Africa and the United States).

Max's knowledge was applied in the development of implementation methodologies such as ASAP, SEM and System Dynamics Modeling and continues to be applied to - help organisations achieve great success with their projects.

Max is regarded as a specialist "Turn-around manager", utilising his change management skills for organisations to realise business objectives. Max has performed the role of Turn-around manager for complex Application System implementation projects for organizations.
