The consultancy work focuses upon: - operational improvements, cost reduction, profit improvement, project management, and general managerial controls. The related industries are Media, Leisure and Manufacturing. I design and create integrated financial models (Excel) and Business Plans (Word). I am a director and company secretary for a small number of private companies. I am a partner in a small graphic design business and an electronics development business.

With three other colleagues I perfected an MBO from my previous employer, backed by venture capital and debt finance. Thereafter the work focussed upon the design and implementation of managerial, operational and reporting controls for the new company. Other responsibilities included: - being the lead in-house contact for the external funding bodies, company secretary and legal work co-ordinator. Managed 35 people.

Work centred upon creating a single business model and a strategy that integrated several disparate publishing companies. With some assistance from my managers new management information systems were designed and implemented and integrated monthly managements accounts were determined.

Managed all manufacturing aspects, including the workforce, of a packaging print company, based in Newbury. New costing systems were devised and implemented and consequently improved profits were achieved.
