Current: Advisory: textile company support to the management in profit recovery in the context of the international restructuring and centralization of activities. At present member of the Advisory Board (4-5 meetings per year)

18 months CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER a.i. petfood
PE backed manufacturing company in small animal feed. Professional market and consumer market. Brand and private label (international retail chains). Turnover about €11 million, strong international distribution (Europe, Middle East, Asia, South America: direct sales, distributors and agents). Assignment: revitalizing the brand (B2B), new product development and growth of the sales funnel. For approx 800-900K in new business is obtained. Deal with Tesco Supermarkets (CE) after private label tender procedure. Implementation of Tesco Food Manufacturing Standards (processes and procedures for safe, legal and ethical food production) in the factory and in the systems. Organizing the supply chain from the factory to the stores.

7 months CLIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR a.i. at leading Dutch market research agency, top 5 position. Annually 600-700 projects, turnover > €10 million. In charge of the commercial revitalization, especially of the FMGC and retail business. Strengthening of the sales process, individual coaching of account managers en project managers. Improvement of project management (financial and organizational).

27 months CEO a.i at holding company, private equity, >200 employees, > € 50 mio turnover: production and trade in jewellery and watches (sourcing and production Europe and Asia). In assignment by the Supervisory Board responsible initial implementation of the strategy (clustering of activities, concentration on strong brands and investments in own design combined with external sourcing). Restructuring of the group including closing down of two operating companies, reduction of working capital, rearrangement of board positions, selection and introduction of ERP system and adjustment of operational processes and reduction of the workforce. Centralization and strengthening of design, procurement and quality management (including local production control in Asia). Setting up a new company for private label sales.

5 months DIRECTOR a.i. jewellery, watches company Problem: undesirable competition between companies belonging to a group. Strategy and organizational structure had led to conflicts between directors of group companies. Supervisory Board is forced to intervene.
Assignment: formulating the vision and mid-term strategy for the group and proposal for a matching organizational structure. Commissioned by the Supervisory Board to intervene in the management conflict regarding leadership and policies. Shareholders support acquired for legal and operational restructuring.


10 months Advisory: production and trade in (brand product) eggs, supporting the owner/director for strengthening brand management, account negotiations with Albert Heijn (nr 1 Dutch supermarket chain: account strategy, annual plan, account profitability) and support with the restructuring of an acquired company, which was generating continues losses.

Manager of a wholesaler of incontinence products of the Brabant Home Nursing Association. Coordination of the administrative processes with the claim requirements of healthcare insurers, reduction of working capital and preparation of the takeover by the National Home Nursing Association.
