2004-2007 Country manager, International Spend Manager
Day to day management of NL part of Central Purchase Office (15 FTE), managing the company's spend (EUR 1.5 bn in 2001) by means of spend management (demand management, value engineering, supplier management, compliance), supporting the businesses in purchasing processes > 125K. Re-organised local purchasing departments into one central purchase office. Implemented HAY job grading and introduced Sustainable Purchasing. Liaison for Business & and Support Management and Works Council.

Several cross border tenders (RfP) for Facility (Furniture), HRM (Employer Branding) and Marketing (Media buying). Negotiations in area of management consulting and IT body shopping. Member of cross border CPO management team. Focus on local people management and cross border programme management.

2001 - 2004 SAP project manager
Cross border responsible for the implementation of SAP (modules FI/CO and MM) for invoice processing and purchasing at the bank in the Benelux. Reporting to General Manager Information Services and Chief Purchasing Officer of the bank. Strong emphasis on change management.

Integration officer
Responsible for the cross border monitoring of several strategic integration projects (overall synergy realisations EUR 675 million) to migrate from 5 banks to one bank. Focus on Facility and Corporate Controlling and Accounting. Realized EUR 8 mio savings (planned: EUR 6 mio) in cross metier Quick Win project (low hanging fruit).
Reporting to chairman of Corporate Centre of the bank in Brussels.

Head of Euro Project Office
As head of Euro project team (6 FTE) co-ordinating the introduction of the euro within the several Fortis companies in the Netherlands. Responsible for internal and external communications and training.

Head of IT Project Office
Overall responsible for the planning and control of IT projects within the bank (total budget approximately NLG 50 million). Direct report to General manager Information services of the bank.

Acceptant Consumer Credits
Started at a dutch bank at a Consumer Credit department as acceptant of applies for mortgages, personal loans and credit cards. Participated as trainer in an IT introduction program.
