Full responsibility for the commercial, operational and financial performance of the Group.
Identifying, justifying and progressing acquisitions and joint-venture opportunities.
Key Achievements:
Acquisition of breakfast cereal competitor with full, successful integration into UK business structure. Turning around the UK business after two years of heavy losses.
Restructuring separate businesses and factories into a more focused European Group.
Developing strategies to achieve long term organic growth of at least 4% p.a. whilst maintaining a return above average for the sector.

(Acquired by Wessanen in 1994 and re-named Dailycer France)
Strategically moved within the H&C Group and tasked with developing an acquired breakfast cereal factory in Northern France.
Key Achievements:
Exceptional profitable growth.
Grew the business organically from a base of 60 employees, 10m Euro turnover and losses of approximately 1m Euro in 1989 to 500 employees, 120m Euro turnover and EBIT of over 10m Euros in 2001.
EBIT ROS margins averaging 12% over the last 10 years.

1986 - 1988 Harrison & Crosfield Plc / Telford Foods
Manufacturing Director
Invited to join the group and develop the fledgling private label business.
Key Achievements:
Built and opened two new factories.
Provided increasingly efficient manufacturing and logistics services to support sales growth from 5 to 10 million pounds.

1985 – 1986 Deputy Factory Manager Responsible for all manufacturing and engineering at the Mattesons Walls Factory with a support team of 1,200 employees.

1976 – 1985 Technical ManagerResponsible for R&D and Quality Assurance at the Bachelor Food’s Ashford Factory.
