ISC Technologies is the technology company behind the media rights business, which owns the World Rally Championships, selling TV, licensing and sponsorship for the sport.

ƒÞ Responsible for building up a technology company from 3 staff to the current 23, in order to develop, test and deploy all systems at events in the World Rally Championships, which take place in 14 countries around the world.
ƒÞ Valued member of the Senior Management Team of ISC, the mother company of ISC Technologies, helping in sales of the TV programmes to broadcasters, promotion of our capabilities to potential sponsors and introducing our vision to many senior potential investors.
ƒÞ Developed world¡¦s premier Rally Timing, Safety Tracking and Event Management Systems, involving complex electronic and mechanical design of hardware (to chip level), low and high-level software applications. Technologies included GPS, TDMA, Virtual Reality, video/audio compression and transmission, wired and wireless (radio, microwave and Ethernet) networks, servers (Win 2000), Satellite and ISDN wide area networks, SQL server database, .NET technologies for WEB design etc. In realizing this, the sport has grown significantly, with TV, Web and Print media products significantly improved in quality & sales.
ƒÞ Being new to the some of the technology, my role was very much one of ensuring the right company structure was put in place, including all processes and procedures; ensuring the user requirements were complete, correctly prioritised and achieved in the development and testing planning; project management; planning of the complex logistics of transporting and deploying these systems all over the world, within the available budgets; financial administration for the company.

Banque Artesia Nederland has Corporate and Private Banking divisions delivering all the usual products to medium sized businesses in Holland with International payment requirements.

ƒÞ Responsible for all Technology matters in The Netherlands. Managed an IT department of 27 staff, including teams for systems/business analysis, developers, dealing room support, infrastructure, local and wide area networks, e-business.
ƒÞ Project managed a major project to replace the existing mainframe banking system with a more modern banking package running on the AS400 with satellite systems for Data Warehouse, Risk, Payments, Reconciliation, Portfolio Management etc, all running under NT, with MQ series based messaging for real-time synchronisation. Project team was 40 strong, including staff from all areas of the bank and a significant number of consultants.
ƒÞ Additional Projects managed in this period include replacement of the entire Local and Wide area networks with market standard software and hardware; Y2K, new email system, new 32-bit version of the e-business application for Corporate Banking, centralised software distribution via SMS, Citrix implementation.
1996 ¡V 1998 Australia New Zealand Bank Singapore
ANZ in Singapore formed part of the ANZ Global Investment Bank, serving customers all over Asia. During this period, it formed a key part of the rapidly expanding Investment Bank.

ƒÞ Responsible for all technology matters in Singapore for this branch of ANZ. Managed a team of 9, including PC/network staff, developers and operators.
ƒÞ Became senior project manager in Global Investment Banking Division of ANZ
ƒÞ Expanded Singapore dealing room from 9 to 24 positions
ƒÞ Designed from scratch the new Indian dealing room (50 positions), including total budget preparation, project planning, infrastructure design, technology vendor selection. Project brought Indian dealing room upto Global ANZ standards for their expanding market there.
ƒÞ Represented Asia on Global Investment Banking Technology Management Team, including planning for global projects such as the setting up of a global book capability.
ƒÞ Other highlights included project managing the implementation of a new Client Relationship Management system, implementation of a Data Warehouse, Y2K preparations, Base currency change.

ƒÞ 1992 - Asked to join the company and manage the infrastructure technology department (16 staff), which included systems programming, network and database support teams.
ƒÞ 1993 - 1995, promoted to Data Centre manager (64 staff), which included responsibility for the Technology group. The major projects achieved in this period included the centralisation of the data centres in other Asian countries (Japan, Indonesia, Australia and Hong Kong) into Singapore, followed by a 10 million USD project to merge the Asian data centre with the European one, located in Bournemouth, UK. Technology was based on IBM Mainframes and minis.
ƒÞ 1996 ¡V asked to join the Cash Management Department as Technology Project Manager. Managed the technical aspects of the implementation of a regional Treasury system for one of Chase¡¦s major Coporate clients. System was Unix based on RS6000 machines.
