Responsible for development and strategic planning including the realisation of a centralized European Operations & Maintenance division within Imtech Telecom International (5 territories). Target expense saving and synergy, international organization of various delivery organizations, development strategic administration, acquire of large international customers (including contract negotiation and contract management). Spotting and developing of new services to be adding to the portfolio, products and international expansion. Responsible for realisation of a new division Operations & Maintenance within Imtech Telecom (nl). This means responsible for the Strategic Master plan, organisation Bleu Prints, implementation and organisation of a commercial organization, development of industrial marketing strategy, call centre, delivery organization, acquisition of customers and realisation external contact negotiations, contract management and implementation of services.
Developed and propagated sales tools, contracts (SLA), and service tools. Realised a basis for an excellent and profitable service organisation and business Partnerships with best of breed system suppliers were put in place.

2000 - 2001 Lucent Technologies EMEA
Service Program Manager Telecommunication equipment

As Service Program Manager responsible for the implementation of service for large customers in Europe who bought network equipment from Lucent Technologies. This meant overall responsible for development of project plans, budget, creation of procedures, calculation of spare parts, ensure training and availability of service engineers, preparation of helpdesk, close B2B contracts with suppliers and outsourcing to 3rd party (European) service providers including organization of international logistics.

Size of projects: Implementation 6 internationals carriers (i.e.Telia, NETS, Telecom Italia, Mobistar, Song networks, Belgacom) within 12 European countries including implementation of an IN platform fro billing and (prepaid) roaming.

Also responsible for coaching of six (6) junior Project Managers within service project organisation. Targets to be set were optimisation of internal project office and training for the junior project managers on the job in combination of implementation of standard SLA and delivery contracts to 3rd party suppliers and vendors.

1998 – 2000 EMI Compact Disc (Holland) B.V.
International Year 2000 Project Manager

Permanent member of Y2K global steering Committee (VP level).
Responsible for year 2000 project for embedded systems, and suppliers for all EMI manufacturing sites (11), studios (8) and distribution centers (32) world-wide spread out over 25 countries.

Reporting directly to:
Vice President Manufacturing and Materials Management Group, Vice President Logistics, Board of Directors.

Scope of Y2K project:
Ultimate responsibility for 3500 production operating systems and 1500 suppliers of raw materials, semi finished products and finished products.
The total number of project employees reporting directly was 50 project coordinators internationally.

Under the authority of the Engineering department determined the status of corrective and preventive maintenance and converted the maintenance strategy for the coming years.
In liaison with the departments concerned, start made towards TPM (Total Productive Maintenance and change management) and automation of servicing – maintenance using software package with integrated stock control module.

Results achieved: implementation of standardized measurement methods and reporting structure. Technical adjustments for further process optimization. Insight provided into maintenance status and strategy. Plan of approach drafted for introduction of software package and development of awareness database.
