May 2005 – January 2006 (75%) - Hoffmann-La Roche (Pharmaceuticals) in Swiss HQ
• Provided, advice and design input to Head of Corporate “Centre of Excellence for Leadership Development” – in areas of Performance Management, Leadership and Core competencies and Career Track development (covering 25,000 staff).
• Developed “User training” modular programmes for the corporate leadership competency and career development initiative; delivered “Train the trainer” programmes in US, Latin America, Poland, Spain and Switzerland.
• Developed launch training for new Performance Management process

October 2004 – May (FT) and until January 2006 (25%) – Servier Laboratories Limited (French owned Pharmaceuticals)
• Led project to develop mission, vision, values and competency framework covering core (values-driven) and technical competencies across all parts of the UK organisation.
• Trained and managed 16 Servier “champions” as project team; delivered training for 250+.
• Designed and implemented competency applications including performance management, PDP, career development, talent management and succession planning.

Developed Global Competency framework (including technical competencies) and delivered roll-out training for 850+ people in Biometrics and Informatics functions.

Raised \"Employee Satisfaction\" ratings of Training & Development from 28% to 66% in 2 years by Implementing HRD Strategy and Training Plans:
Implemented company-wide Competencies project; created fully equipped Learning Resource & Training Centre; developed and ran IT recruitment assessment centres.
Developed new performance management scheme incorporating competency assessment, career mapping & personal development planning.

Designed and implemented new C & B Group structure achieving 50% reduction in central overhead management headcount (650 down to 320).
Ran House Management Recruitment Campaigns; instigated Assessment Centres and reduced turnover from 65% to 30% in twelve months.
Managed Outsourcing and other HR aspects of site and company closures.
Negotiated new pay and benefits schemes and annual salary rounds with union.
