A private company, that imports and distributes building and “do- it- yourself” materials in the Dutch Caribean. 250 employees.
Turnover $ 50 mln.

Commercial Director.

Succesful transformation of a conventional hardware store with branches on Bonaire, Aruba and Curacao into a modern megastore, ready to sell and export hardware- and building materials.

During this turn-around proces initiated together with some other parties a loyalty program (Fun Miles), in which about 30 companies participate.
This loyalty program is an important part of the new sales strategy of Kooyman.


1994 – 1996 Watts Ocean (Watts Reculator, USA)
Manufacturer and distributor of check valves and backflow preventers
for drinking water and central heating installations.
