2014 – 2015 Process Management Consultant at BNP Paribas –Securities Services (Interim)
In this role I supported the organisation in getting more control over the outcome of the current processes. In this assignment I documented the current processes, introduced additional controls and control structures, and defined the link between the global process management structure to incorporated the existing IT Governance structures for (IT) improvements in the process-hubs.

2013 – 2014 Senior Business Analyst at ING N.V. – Commercial Bank/Treasury (Interim)
This role involves connecting new and existing source systems to the Finance Reporting infrastructure (GFRS). This role involves both being a coordinator among the different stakeholders as well as being an business analyst with in-depth knowledge about the content of the banking products and financial reporting requirements. Product domains involved were: Financial Markets products, Payments stack products, and Trade Financing products.

2012 – 2013 Manager Financial Process Improvement at ING Direct Canada
As a Process Improvement Manager my role was to facilitate the improvement of the systems and processes of the ING Direct Finance department in order to improve their operational effectiveness. Activities performed include: implementation of non-financial risk management, system and process adaptation due to the introduction of new financial products, IFRS gap analysis, capturing and structuring historic data for future use, test and transition of new reporting modules, system upgrades, etc.

2009 – 2011 Financial Controller at ABN AMRO (Finance, Accounting & Reporting, BU Markets)
As a Financial Controller in Accounting & Reporting the main responsibility is to ensure the correct financial administration and reporting of the banks Markets activities and products. Activities performed include: Month-end validation and reporting of the Markets reporting units, Application of IFRS, Basel I & II and Central Bank regulation, Liaising with upstream parties to ensure data quality. My role as a Finance representative in several projects relates to the setup of new Markets trading systems. Activities involved: requirements setup and validation, setup and validation of accounting rule schemas, and mapping accounting events to reporting structures and chart of accounts.

2007 – 2009 Cost Controller at ABN AMRO (Finance, Accounting & Reporting, Cost Accounting)
As a Cost Controller the main responsibility is to ensure the correct administration and reporting of non-banking costs. Main focus areas where: budgeting, Global Clients, restructuring provisions and Cross-BU Settlements. Additionally contributions have been made to several projects like: cost split among consortium partners, SAP system upgrade, setup of the financial administration and procedures for restructuring projects, improved professionalism and documentation of departmental tasks.

1995 – 2007 Senior Oracle Consultant at Oracle Netherlands B.V (Oracle Consulting Services)
The numerous projects in this period made me a senior all-round Oracle IT-Business Consultant and enables me to help any kind of IT-Business improvement initiative in any kind of organisation. I have fulfilled any kind of role like: Team Leader / Project Leader, Analyst (Business, Data , Information), Architect, Solution Designer, Quality Auditor, Database designer, developer, Test Coordinator. Through these projects I have gained in-depth knowledge about many different processes in many different businesses and sectors.
