Introduced a portfolio of improvement projects to grow the business and utilised operational expertise to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the programme. Key player in the integration of Addison-Wesley / Prentice-Hall businesses. Although the merger was complete the businesses operated very independently with a fragmented sales force and complex reporting framework. Led the successful integration of employment contracts and working conditions and created a structure which encouraged team work and cohesion. Was also a member of the European Executive Committee providing pan-European insight and input, reporting on the European business and contributing to international forums, best practice and knowledge sharing.

Since leaving Pearson has offered business expertise on a project basis to a number of smaller organisations. Has consistently utilised a network of international contacts, identifying opportunities and bringing businesses / individuals together. Projects include:
 Led the planning and delivery of an art exhibition on Patmos, Greece. As the artist's agent was
responsible for the end-to-end project from concept through to opening. This included the design / production of the promotional catalogue and all artwork photography. The event resulted in the sale of 95% of all artwork on display and has been asked to coordinate a similar event in Amsterdam
 Currently works with British fashion designer Katherine Hooker, planning the introduction of her work to the Dutch market through hosting a trunk show attended by industry and media representatives
 Is currently working with an independent hotelier in Greece to construct a business plan and transformation strategy to turnaround an ailing operation
 Recognised a business opportunity for a theatre company in Amsterdam to have their production made into a documentary film. Harnessed a network of relevant contacts, bringing interested parties together to discuss possibilities
 Involved in the strategic development of a business model and operational strategy for an animal shelter for the Greek Island of Patmos
 Designed and launched new marketing techniques for a club in Greece, changing the target clientele to expand turnover
