Summary

Managing a number of executive coaching assignments incorporating occupational/360 assessments. Working with the bank’s Retail Division management team to profile and change team culture.
Programme Manager/Implementation Coordinator, MCB Basel II Programme (Oct 2005 – March 2007)
Reporting to the Programme Director on an enterprise-wide Basle II implementation for a bank, designed and implemented framework for Change/Transition aspects of programme including Governance, Compliance Assurance, Communications, Knowledge Transfer, Impact Assessment, Configuration Management, Programme Reporting and Closure.

 Standard Bank, London (during 2002-03): (i) Completed a strategic assessment of a trading unit, including review of risk management and corporate governance processes, resulting in a significant change in organisational structure (ii) Facilitated part of a global middle/senior management conference focussing on managing change and organisational culture. (iii) Completed a review of the functioning of a regular meeting in the bank’s capital markets function leading to significant changes in format.
 RZB Austria, London (Nov 2002-Mar 2003): Reporting to the Executive Committee of the London Branch, completed the diagnostic phase of a technology-led change management programme assisting management in developing a change management strategy and implementation plan.
 Permanent TSB, Dublin (Feb-May 2002): Reporting to the Treasurer, a risk management/business review for the Treasury Division resulting in significant changes in policy, organisation and operating processes.

• Scoped and project-managed a number of successful major projects including:
• The development and implementation of a global sales performance/CRM system covering in excess of 100 sales personnel;
• Co-ordinated the re-location of 250 London-based staff to new premises;
• Redesigned the P&L/risk reporting processes for the Emerging Markets Division including innovative divisional information reporting system. Solution subsequently used for all WestLB London units.
• Developed divisional strategic plans in association with senior management (including e-commerce and technology/information strategies), worked with support and business units to implement strategy.
• Set-up and managed an independent risk management department (four staff) for WestLB’s derivatives and emerging markets businesses in New York.
