23 years working in the suger confectionery industry with Geo Bassett, Trebour Bassett and Cadbury's with the last 10 years as a senior manager working in operations
Last 3 years working as an interim manager completing assignments with the Post Office delivering in conjunction with the Sheffield Hallam University a program about Change in the Organisation, Interim Operations manager for Isleham Fresh Produce a carrot and parsnip growing and packaging business where I took them through a structural review and implemented the changes required to successfully complete their Christmas production problems.
Interim Manager , warehouse and distribution operations at Grampian Country Transport ,part of the Grampian foods group where I managed the business whilst they recruited an operations manager and shift managers this was a 8 month assignment developing the management structure and introducing self managed teams in the warehouse .
interim manager , Planning this was a 3 month assignment to cover for extended leave and involved the planning of production, procurement and packing of the airline sector of Molton Brown Cosmetics, I also reviewed the warehouse operation providing a report detailing the way forward for accurate stock holding.
Interim Production manager , Stockpack a contract packing business supporting the current production manager over a period of 3 months to date to effect a change in management style through out the organisation.
