b. Terremark Amsterdam, Brussels, Madrid, London
Terremark integrated the Dedigate (Belgium and the Netherlands) and Data Return (UK) activities into its global strategy. Terremark rebranded all entities and launched new services in the area of Virtualisation and Cloud Computing (Infinistructure and eCloud).
Defined and executed the sales plan.
Result: € 15M revenue in the first year of Terremark in Europe (sales team of 10 account managers (of which 4 new) and 150 customers (20% new)
c. Kalkmann Audio Breda
Kalkmann Audio refocused from distributing HiFi equipment to producing and distributing loudspeakers for the hearing impaired (based on patented technology)
Result: Signed the first major distributors in the Netherlands
d. WideXS Hoofddorp & Amsterdam
Successfully restructured the internet and hosting activities after splitting up the company in independent business units.
Result: WideXS in Emerce top 50 e-business suppliers and in Sprout top 100 of the best service providers for businesses: ranked 17 in overview of all categories in NL and ranked 3rd in ICT category.
e. ion-ip Veenendaal
Establish the sales and marketing departments after the management buy-out out of Cable & Wireless. Defining and executing sales and marketing campaigns, lead generation and PR activities. Development of a clear business development strategy for and with the entities in Sweden, Russia and Belgium.
f. Telia International Carrier Stockholm / Brussels / Amsterdam
As Managing Director Benelux establish the Benelux offices for the Swedish incumbent operator Telia. In this function responsible for actively introducing the company and its services in the local markets from offices in Brussels and Amsterdam.
During the bankruptcy of KPN Qwest handled the interests of Telia and commercially exploited (optimised) the business opportunities.
Restructured Telia IC during the merger between Telia and Sonera.
g. Instore Technologies Stockholm / Amsterdam
As Managing Director Netherlands established the Dutch subsidiary as a pilot for future international roll-out (under guidance of BCG – Boston Consulting Group)
