Its main activity is the detection and removal of landmines and Unexploded Ordnance. The organization is assisted and advised by around 60 international Technical Advisors. The Senior Technical Advisor Finance is one of five managers of the advisory management team.

Responsibilities:
Assist and advise the Director of Finance on all aspects of financial management
Responsible for ensuring transparent and accountable financial systems and internal control in accordance with GAAP
Assess the current organizational and financial structures, internal control, procedures and staff capacity and capability
Design and implement new, compatible account and budget systems allowing for optimal account and budget analysis and cost control
Develop report formats and systems in compliance with the different donor reporting requirements
Design and implement financial software at the Finance Section
Co-ordinate the integration of the software implementation at the Logistics and Procurement branch
Develop and implement procedures and training manuals
