Work Experience

After finishing my degree in economics at the University of Cologne I joined Peat Marwick Mitchell in Düsseldorf in 1985 (KPMG as of 1986) as a consultant in the Audit and Audit Related Services department; later concentrating on Management Consulting Services.

Since 1996, I have worked in the General Management and financial, sales, purchase as well as technical functions in different industries, focusing primarily on private and publicly traded medium sized companies.

With a major focus in finance, structuring and restructuring, controlling, internal audit, M&A, I have also focused on sales, strategy, production, innovation managemen, project management and business development – with many years of both local and global experience in General Management.

This includes working on C-level (CEO, CFO, CTO, CPO) as Executive Member of the Board (Vorstand) nationally and internationally and as the General Manager (Geschäftsführer) of Holding Companies taking overall responsibility or division (production and trading).

Special fields of activity: Restructuring and corporate recovery, bad bank / NPL, finance, controlling, internal audit, M&A, marketing, sales, strategy, business development, General Management.
