Responsibilities: Global development and Roll Out of S&OP process, Global design and Roll out of Continuous Improvement Program in Manufacturing,Global design and Roll out of Energy Saving program, Provide Support to Operating Companies in reducing working capital. Main achievements: Installation of Global Excellence Center, Alignment in Organization on 1 continuous Improvement Program in Manufacturing, Development & implementation of a Loss Assessment system in which in limited time all supply chain losses can be mapped.


2010-2011: Managing Director Lyempf
Responsible for all activities of Lyempf (Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance); 100 FTE. Lyempf is a contract manufacturer in milkproducts, spray drying and producer of Infant Formula. Reporting to the owner of Lyempf. Responsibilities: Responsible for Strategy and Sales, Responsible for Manufacturing; preparation for bankruptcy & take over. Main achievements: Reduction of contracted oversupply of milk, Renegotiation of existing contracts and sharp price increase of main contracts, Establishment of new strategy, Filing for Bankruptcy and lining up of potential buyers


2006 - 2010: Manufacturing Director DSM Food Specialties-Savoury Ingredients. Responsible for all manufacturing related activities on the site Delft and for the site in China (170 FTE). Responsible for outsourcing & tolling. Main achievements: Increase of confidence of employees in management, Culture change in organization (open, taking responsibility), Reduction of Incident Rate, Increase of First Time Right , Increased output (45%), Manufacturing Excellence implementation, Champion role of SAP implementation in Production, Design and Implementation of new logistical Concept leading to lower Operating Working Capital and more Flexibility, Project leader Advanced Manufacturing on Delft site (a.o. Implementation Six Sigma) resulting in significant Cost reductions, To change 1 plant from Food Plant status to Pharma status for Pimaricine production

2004 - 2006: BG SHE Manager DSM Composite Resins Responsible for Safety, Health and Environment within the Business Group DSM Composite Resins with 4 manufacturing sites in Europe and 1 in China. 2 R&D locations and a few distribution centres. Tasks: Selection, design & implementation of best practices for sites that need improvements in certain area’s, Getting Compliant of the China location with DSM Requirements, Creation of several training programs and provision of the training.

1998 - 2004: Site Manager DSM Food Specialties. Responsible for all activities on the site Zaandam (65 FTE). Main achievements: Illness rate reduced with 50%, Strong increase of First Time Right (Quality KPI), Renewal of Environmental Permit in difficult circumstances accompanied by Public Relation tasks, Improvement of Safety Circumstances employees, Reduction of Maintenance costs (20%), Masterplan upgrade facility & Manufacturing Strategy. As a result a new factory has been built in China with a radical new technology, Corporate auditor on Safety Health and Environment (SHE), Change Manager with SAP implementation.


1997 - 1998: Friskies, IJmuiden (Nestlé). Shift Manager (22 FTE)
Main Products: Felix en Bonzo. Tasks: Organization of daily production; projectgroup shiftsize.

1991 - 1996: Edward Baker Petfoods, Veghel
R&D/QA manager. Main Projects/Tasks: Supporting the integration of 3 productionsites to 1 site, Projectleader with Quality Improvement projects, Productdevelopment (Hols, Kiddo, Pittah) & recipe management, Providing advice with the selection of production equipment, Heavy support in the implementation of an ERP-system, Establishing the basis of an ISO-9001 systeem, Providing technical support to marketing and sales
