Key Achievements

Remodelled processes which resulted in a reduction in the working week from 7 to 5 resulting in reduction in Operational Costs of £350k p.a.
Project led the implementation of Voice Pick though the Replenishment, Pallet / Case Pick and Forward Picking activities resulting in increased productivity of 10% on pick, reduced error levels by 50% resulting in further increased productivity downstream.
Improved space utilisation through introduction of alternative solutions which increased opportunities to maximise growth by expanding 3rd Party Client base

DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS MANAGER
Was responsible for management of the Distribution facility of 30,000m2 and 25,000 pallet locations.

Developed Start Up in new 40,000m2 Distribution Warehouse including the provision of new WMS, Sortation and ASR systems and solutions
Successfully managed the integration of 12 Publishing Clients into the facility resulting in an increase of £8m in 3PL contracts
Through negotiation and natural wastage reduced the operational workforce by 50%
Increased productivity by 200% over the 7 years and reduced error rates by 50% by introducing comprehensive barcode scanning into the Operation
