Netshift are the world’s leading supplier of e commerce software solutions using public Internet access devices. Examples include BT’s web phones, Vodafone retail’s point of sales terminals and the Governments information points in jobcentres, libraries and post offices.

UK. sales are direct to key accounts or in partnership with the major consultancies. Products and services are also licensed to channel partners around the world.

Responsibilities and achievements
· Headhunted by the MD ( who was his previous MD at Silicon Graphics ) to set up the sales operation for Netshift. He grew the business from $100k per annum to $5m per annum within 2 years exceeding targets in both years. This growth positioned Netshift as the world leader both in revenue and licence sales.

· This sales success helped raise $5m in venture Capital from Shell Oil Internet ventures.

· Directly closed new Netshift business including Vodafone, BP, Post Office, Greater Manchester Transport, Punch Taverns, Marconi, Barcrest, British Museum, Local and Central Government. Typical order values from $2,000 to $1m.

· Built a Direct field and internal sales team in the UK.

· Built a global reseller channel

· Convinced major system houses to partner with and bid Netshift software and services on their major projects, partners include, NCR. Logica, BT Syntegra, Fujitsu / ICL and IBM global services.
· Post investment recruited and trained a sales team of direct and internal sales and opened a USA sales office.

Auspex USA (annual revenues of $200m+) manufacture NAS.(Network attached storage solutions.)
· Responsible for sales into the Media, e commerce and manufacturing sectors.
