To maintain and support medical equipment as well as office-automation equipment in East- and Western Europe. To create and conduct training sessions for European dealer organisations.


1/1977 – 5/1978 OMS, Delft: Service Manager.
Maintain office automation equipment in the Netherlands. Responsible for planning of maintenance, realisation of installations, training, dispatch and tracking of Field Service Engineers.


6/1978 – 6/1989 XIOS Systems, Delft: Service Manager.
Responsible for all technical and financial aspects of a Service organisation like selling maintenance contracts and setting up the budgets.
Starting 1988 also functioning as Service coordinator for the Benelux, directly reporting to the General Manager.


7/1989 – 10/1998 Multihouse, Gouda (ASAC): Consultant
Task set :
1. Integration of the XIOS technical department into the one of Multihouse and handling the contract base of XIOS systems.

2. Restructuring the spare part organisation and logistics and responsible for the financial site of Repair and Logistics.

3. Responsible for Purchasing and Logistics for Services which means:
- purchasing of software maintenance licences;
- subcontracting services and products;
- purchase spare parts;
- set the maintenance prices;
- selling spare parts;
- watching throughput of internal and external suppliers.

4. Product Marketing (consultancy) for Maintenance and Services:
- developing and implementing new services;
- developing customer satisfaction programs;
- calculation of product and hourly rates;
- setting guide lines for optimising the service organisation;
- outsourcing parts of the service organisation;
- developing partnerships with other service companies.

5. Manager Remote Management Centre (RMC) and Field Manager:
- responsible for recruiting, employing and coaching of System- and Network Management Engineers;
- developing and implementing management services for the RMC;
- arrange agreements with customers with respect to Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
- responsible for the sales and marketing of the RMC services;
- financial responsibility for the RMC business as well as 50% of the System- and Network Management Activities on behalf of third parties;
- reporting to the Director of Services



11/1998 – 7/2000 PANASONIC-CENTRE NEDERLAND, The Hague:
Division Manager Services Telecom products
Responsible for the Telecom division which handles the entire repair (in- and out of warranty) of Panasonic telecom products in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- set and meet the budget;
- take care of the warranty claims;
- investigation and implementing changes in procedures and organisation which influence the repair pricing;
- adjusting the repair prices in co-operation with the agent (Haagtechno);
- maintain contacts with factories, suppliers, agent, dealers and colleagues;
- to create and implement adjustment programs in case of excessive problems with products as well as setting the claims towards the factory.

7/2000 – 11/2001 Quads B.V., Langweer (Fr.): Director
Project Development as wel as Interim- and Project-management.

11/2001– present Cereon B.V. Amsterdam: Plantmanager
Restructuring a moderate audio-visual repair centre into a high volume GSM repair plant.

Fully responsible for the move from a “job shop” into a “production” oriented line using the available staff as well as hiring additional technicians. Changes in staff, IT, logistics, production and administration were implemented.
