I participated in different Vodafone Group (global) workstreams and have been responsible for Vodafone live! programme management of the last release.

January - May 2001: Started own company
During this period I worked 3 days a week on a business plan for an e-mail handling centre (handling e-mails for third parties). At the end of May I decided not to proceed because of a weak business case, high investment costs and the bursting of the Internet bubble.

July 1998- May 2001: Product manager with KPN Telecom, The Hague, The Netherlands
End to end responsibility for the development of a virtual call centre service and adding additional intelligence to the fixed network. At the end of 2000 the service was implemented with the first (internal) customer and contracts were signed with the first external customers. Tasks and responsibilities:
- Designing the service, making the functional requirements and aligning them with the technical specifications
- Finding budget and commitment for the project
- Making of the marketing plan and communications plan
- Selection of suppliers and contract negotiations
- Leading a small team of consultants, project mgr’s and technical specialists

Development of IVR-services in combination with premium rate and tollfree-numbers (KPN CallMedia and CallFactory)

June 1997 – June 1998: Trainee with the Panfox Trainee Instituut, Rosmalen, The Netherlands
After 2 months of IT-training placed with PTT Telecom (since 1998 known as KPN Telecom) as Coordinator Test & Implementation. Responsible for the making and execution of test- and pilot-plans, which preceded the introduction of new services.

January – September 1996: Internship with NS Cargo, Barendrecht, The Netherlands
Internship/research with the Dutch railway company: proposal for improving the processes and diminishing the cargo handling time at a goods station.

September – November 1995: Internship with Adam Opel AG, Ruesselsheim, Germany
Participation in a project-team: Introduction of the new Dealer Communication System in Germany
