- Contracted with Scandinavian Airlines System, Stockholm,Sweden/Scandinavian IT Group,Copenhagen,Denmark. Various Project Management roles, all aimed at establishing the SAS Corporate Card (\\\"SCC\\\")from concept to launch.

1998-2000 Phase 1:Project managed the business analysis,system selection,coordinated the system delivery, and set up the support operations. SAS own card launched in Sweden September 2000 with pilot Customers which I interim managed for 12 months.
2000-2002 Phase 2:Project managed the joint business analysis, and coordinated the creation of the cobranded SAS
Corporate Card(with Mastercard)through the Nordea Banking Group(\\\"NBF\\\"). This incorporated the merger of the SAS electronic products. Launched in various phases starting November 2001 in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Thomas Cook Group Ltd, Peterborough.
Business:Travel and Financial Services Group operating in over 100 countries with 12000 staff.
- Project Manager for the merger of the Visa TravelMoney and the Worldwide Telephone Card into the existing operational infrastructure, including financial processing and payment methods, customer services, card production and distribution, risk identification and being legal advisor/coordinator globally.

- Part of the due diligence team, the Project Manager for the global merger and rationalisation of the supply chain and distribution methods of the Thomas Cook MasterCard and Interpayment VISA travellers cheques. Included living part of each month in New York whilst being functionally responsible for departments in New York, Toronto and Sydney.

- From concept to delivery redesigned and merged the Thomas Cook MasterCard and Interpayment VISA Trust Receipt Terms & Conditions, and directed the total rethink of the approach to the Trust Receipts and contracts.

- Introduced bar coding into the Financial Service packing areas.

- Project Manager for the closure of Thomas Cook Financial Services USA Order Taking and Customer Support operations, and the merger of those operations into the UK.

- Brought all the aspects of banknote distribution and control in house saving £100,000.

- Obtained global consensus on, the managed, the centralisation and contract negotiation of key global distribution and pick & pack service suppliers, to obtain optimum service levels and economies of scale. This included security carriers, Mail priority services and courier relationships.

- Was a key member of the management team which handled a 1000% business growth when Midland Bank\'s wholesale bank note operations were integrated.

1992-1998:Manager-Operational Logistics (Thomas Cook Financial Services but Group wide). Analysed and researched, then managed the implementation of changes required in the operations chain, involving total ownership of projects and ensuring processes remained under review (continuous improvement). The creation and approval of contracts and terms & conditions, as well as risk identification, are part of this role.

1998-1992: Manager-Value Distribution(Financial Services)
Responsible for the merger of the banknote, travellers cheque, and draft bulk distribution departments and functions on a global basis. As the recognised internal expert became heavily involved in the global sales and distribution centre reviews.

1987-1988: Distribution Manager-(Foreign Money Division-London based)
Set up the bulk banknote distribution department, brought in house the airline and customs functions previously outsourced, and trained staff accordingly.
