Head of HR ADP Ltd, Payroll and Employment Services Company – London.
Successfully developed, negotiated, and implemented a re-structuring plan for the recently privatised Chessington Computer Centre, achieving a 30% staff reduction 3 months ahead of schedule. Managed all HR aspects of the relocation of 250 staff to new offices. Re-structured the HR function and re-directed its activities towards delivering a pro-active and business-led service. Sourced a multi-user/multi-tasking CPIS.

Director (Part-Time) Rail Road Industries Ltd, Bi-modal (Road/Rail) Project Engineering Company – South East.
Produced a full Business Plan and introduced both business and financial partners/investors.

HR Director Medidesk Ltd, Software Development Company – London & North-East.
Successfully developed and implemented a re-structuring plan. Successfully managed all HR aspects of an acquisition. Produced the implementation plan for the introduction of the statutory 35-hour week.

Personnel Director KUSCO Ltd (Kingston University Service Company Ltd), Facilities Management Company – London. Developed and successfully implemented a business-led HR Strategy for this newly outsourced business. Managed all HR aspects of the business, including TUPE issues. Successfully designed and implemented a comprehensive senior management development programme. Successfully designed and implemented a range of employment policies and procedures.

Personnel Director Hurel-Dubois, Aerospace Company (French owned) – UK (North West) & France.
Developed and then successfully implemented a range of business-led HR policies and procedures. Negotiated and then successfully project-managed the introduction of parent company “work booking” system. Developed and then negotiated new “harmonised” Terms and Conditions of Employment. Successfully introduced “single-table” consultation and collective bargaining arrangements. Designed and implemented a comprehensive junior/middle management training programme.

Group Personnel Director Jarvis PLC, Railway FM/Infrastructure Maintenance/Track Renewals plc - South East.
Developed and successfully introduced a business-led HR strategy. Project managed the introduction of new Terms & Conditions of Employment. Re-structured the HR function to ensure that it delivered a cost-effective and business-led service to line managers.

Carried out a full communications audit and then designed and implemented an effective employee communication process. Designed and successfully implemented, including delivery of all training, a Performance Management Scheme.

Advisor to a major food and beverage company on the HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions in the EU and Eastern Europe.
