As Contract Manager for the introduction, on the Belgian market, as a major player in the Pharmaceutical contracting. This includes contacting potential clients, prepare and organize audits, make and negotiate offers.

This resulted as yet in different orders for major pharmaceutical companies.

Egemin 2000 - 2003

As Project Manager for the basic/detailed design, purchase, installation, validation and start-up of a Water For Injection Installation at Helvoet Pharma Alken.

Starting with the User Requirement Specification, a P&ID and a validation plan I was responsable for the whole project ( basic design, detailed design, procurement, budget, execution, start up and validation file ). The project was a water purification facility meant to wash sterile pharmaceutical rubbers before shipping. The techniques involved were civil, pharmaceutical piping, electrical, instrumentation and software. It had to be executed within the GMP ( Good Manufactoring Practices ) standards acceptable for the FDA.

As Project Manager for the basic/detailed design, purchase, installation and start-up of a mixing installation at Rogers NV Gent.

Starting from the Egemin Process Department designed P&ID I was responsable for the whole project ( basic design, detailed design, procurement, budget, execution, start up ). The project was a fine chemical Automatic Mixing Installation to produce, on a batch basis, a resin for Integrated Circuit Boards. The techniques involved were civil, piping, steelwork, electrical, instrumentation and software.

As Project Manager for miscellanious design and validation projects at Cilag AG Zurich.

Abay TS 1994 - 1999

As Project Manager for the joint venture Abay TS/CPW/Roegiers, design, purchasing & installation of a flue gas cleaning installation on a domestic waste plant at RMZ Houthalen.

The project was to implement a flue gas cleaning installation in between an existing domestic waste incinerator and the chimney. The techniques involved were civil, steelwork, electrical, instrumentation and software. The basis to start from were a P&ID made by a license owner.
I was responsable for the Joint Venture of the three companies to communicate towards the client as one entity and to coördinate that all the aspects of the project ( basic design, detailed design, procurement, budget of the JV, execution, start up ) were delivered on time and within specification.

As Project Manager for the cooling tower, flue gas ducting & instrumentation for the domestic waste incinerator of IVAGO Gent.

Preparation, Quantification and Finalization of a claim for the Euroshuttle Consortium Wagons, who were building 254 shuttle trains for the Channel Tunnel Shuttle Service, against Transmanche Link. The claim consisted of some 11.000 pages, 168 claimevents, thousands of small indirect events plus delay and disruption, extension of time and impact on other contracts.
Claimvalue: 3.500 million FRF.
