As program manager Internet Services I was responsible for the technical delivery of Vodafone's new suite of mobile and web services: Vodafone 360. This suite of services consisted of a PC portal, a mobile portal, 2 new Vodafone branded handsets and several on-device clients. Running the program involved managing a team of skilled professionals as well as continuous engagement with business product managers and Vodafone Global. This resulted in the launch of Vodafone 360 on schedule in October 2009. Direct benefits from the program became apparent straight after launch. From one week to the next mobile data usage surged to new heights.

From April 2002 onwards I full-filled various roles at Vodafone GP&S. I started of as project manager for a feasibility study for the Unified Messaging program within IT&TM. When that finished I switched to working for the SDP (Service Delivery Platform) program in the program management office and the Business Engineering team for SDP. There I worked on the requirements gathering for Vodafone live! release 1. In October 2002 I switched to the Local Implementation team of SDP. There I acted as country Rollout manager for Hungary, project manager for the migration to the new rendering engine and finally as manager for the Service
Rendering Program. From September 2003 I took on the role as SD deployment manager for Egypt, Ireland and later on for Spain and Portugal.

I co-founded a new mobile initiative in 2000 called: the Mobile Technology Lab. This lab served as an environment for telecom-, and other customers, to gain experience with mobile technology in general and get inspired by the limitless possibilities of the mobile future. During this period I fulfilled the role of Business Development manager for the Lab. In this role I was responsible for evaluating new technologies and partners from a technological as
well as a business point of view.
