All operationnel functions: Finance, Sales, R&D, Purchasing and Supply chain, Manufacturing, Quality, After sales service, HR.
 Transition Management of Purchasing and Supplying of a French Company [8 months]
[Company staff: 330 people; Purchasing and supplying staff: 13 people; 3500 different parts bought to 400 suppliers]
 Inustrial coachbuilding setting up project.


2000-2001:CASE NEW HOLLAND (CNH, FIAT Group), Quality & Product Behaviour Senior Director (Excavator Global Product Line). Position located in Berlin. Quality improvement of excavators.

1996-2000: NEW HOLLAND (FIAT Group), leader on the agricultural and construction machine equipment market. (Turn over: US billion 6.0 - 15 plants + 4 JV)
Director of Tractor Product and Process Engineering, including engines produced in Basildon. Management of 6 R&D centres: Italy, UK, Canada, USA, Brazil and India.
525 Engineers. Budget: US$ million 90.0. Results: Innovations…, tractor performance and quality improvements, new tractor ranges, R&D costs decrease…
Position located in London New Holland' Headquarters.
Mission in the Quality & Product performance field with a view to prepare the merger with the American CASE group, competitor that has been bought by the FIAT group. (Effective merger November 12th, 1999. New company: CNH. In 2000, the Headquarter moved to Wisconsin, where I did not accept to move.)

1973-1996: MICHELIN group. Turn over: US$ billion 13.5; 115,000 employees, 75 plants worldwide.

1991-1996: Purchasing Director.
In charge of purchasing steel (470,000T), steel-cord and bead-wire (80,000T), plus textile reinforcements (80,000T of rayon, polyester, polyamide and aramid...) that is to say 25% of raw materials of Michelin Group. Total yearly business: M$800. Cost recurrent decrease from 3.5 to 5.5 % per year. Concurrent mission to improve the "Supply Chain”.

1990-1991: Plant Director: 550 people, working 3 or 4 shifts, in several workshops: aluminium die and sand casting, tyre curing mould machining, race tyre manufacturing, and production of different semi-products.

1984-1990: R & D Director for Truck, Earthmover and Agriculture Tyres. (Worldwide responsibility: 140 engineers and technicians in Clermont-Ferrand, France, and 540 people in Almería (Spain), where tyre-testing facilities are located, working 3 shifts and some of them 5 shifts [7 days a week]. Management of R&D and Innovation. Budget: US$ million 70.0
Innovation in all tyre ranges and concurrently strong R&D cost decrease.

1981-1984: Wheel and Accessories R & D Director .
