- Led Financial Planning & Analysis across EMEA: annual strategic business plan, financial/marketing forecasts/actual/trend, profitability analysis and retail channel activities (KPIs, P&L, Capex),

Head of Finance: 600 employees – annual MFG production of $120 million – annual R&D budget of $35 million. Supervised 12 team members and reported to Center Manager and to Worldwide Controller in Houston:

- Coordinated the re-engineering of Funding & Strategic Business Plan processes with all R&D stakeholders,
- Partnered with Supply Chain to execute low cost countries procurement and subcontracting plan,
- Drove tax planning and transfer pricing strategies,
- Partnered with Intellectual Property department for IP contracts review and patent filing & management,
- Ensured compliance with Japanese statutory and US GAAP / SLB / SOX reporting requirements.


PAYLESS SHOESOURCE INTERNATIONAL (Sept. 05 – June 06) => Largest footwear retailer in Northern Hemisphere with a revenue of USD 2.7 billion in 2005. Sourcing Office of 180 employees in Taipei.

In charge of a newly created department, reported to the office MD and VPs in the HQ:

- Developed and conducted annual financial and operational audits in Greater China (China, HK, Taiwan),
- Built, deployed and monitored Sarbanes Oxley compliance in the Region,
- Designed and implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility Program for Payless including Code of Conducts, factory base definition, contract factories assessment tools, audit protocols and factory compliance auditors’ coaching and training – 3 CSR officers and 50+ contract factories.

SCHLUMBERGER – Country Finance Manager – CHAD, AFRICA (Apr. 03 – Oct. 04)

Directly managed all financial and administrative aspects of the branch in Chad (220 employees – revenue of USD 80 million for 2003). Supervised a team of 8 and reported to Chad Country Manager:

- In charge of all financial activities & decisions regarding the country and our clients (tenders preparation, price policy, investments control...),
- Supervised management (US GAAP) and local statutory accounts preparation and submission,
- Drove Government liaison (tax, customs, labor offices…) and managed 3rd party service providers,
- Led the implementation of LAWSON ERP (Finance, CRM and Procurement).

SCHLUMBERGER – ECA Internal Audit Manager – Paris, FRANCE (Mar. 01 – Mar. 03)

Led internal audit for Schlumberger Oilfield division in Europe, CIS and Africa (25+ countries, USD 3.5 billion revenue in 2005):

- Planed and led internal control / process related and balance sheet audits in 25+ countries,
- Initiated, built and launched a Best Practices intranet among Finance community in the region,
- Managed SOX compliance roll out with Internal Audit Committee and External Auditors,
- Trained 100+ audit members on Company’s regulations / policies as well as audit methodologies.


MORGAN S.A. – ERP project leader + Retail Controller – Paris, FRANCE (Jan. 99 – Feb. 01) => French designer, manufacturer and retailer of women\'s clothing and accessories. 600 POS in 53 countries, USD 210 million revenue in 2005.

Drove the commissioning of the new MOVEX ERP (team of 5 persons reporting to me) + Retail Controller for France (new position – 30 points of sale):

- Deployed production, purchasing, logistic, accounting and distribution modules, including business processes re-engineering, ERP parameters, end users training and post-implementation follow up,
- Designed new scorecard and KPIs monitoring POS (Point of Sales) performances to maximize revenue and achieve profit and inventory targets.
