CAREER EXPERIENCE

since 1998 Interim Manager HR; Munich - Germany
Mainly I'm specialized in providing two types of services for the companies: on the one hand temporary human resources management and on the other hand temporary assignments for human resources projects.
Exemplary I did by myself the project management for the 1999 recruitment project of the major German exchange organization or I was a telco company's temporary HR Manager, being responsible to set up a new business unit from the HR point of view or I was a HR generalist who would very rapidly assist the development of a very well known IT company's German Sales organization which needed both basic HR processes to be put in place, as well as a lot of people change management e.g. the development of old staff, the recruitment of new, and where change was for one reason or another impossible, the professional outplacement of current staff. Moreover I supported the build up of the structure for the Austrian Highway Toll System from the HR point of view within the project period. Recently I supported an UK based IT Service Provider to reorganize their business in Germany which has included a significant downsizing of the current staff in cooperation with the works council.

1996 - 1998 Human Resources Manager, Knuerr AG, Munich -Germany
In this position I was responsible for 1000 employees in different locations in Germany and Europe. The main responsibilities were recruitment, personnel development and training. Since the position of the works council was powerful, dealing with the work council was a major task for me as well. As the head of the Human Resources department I supervised 11 employees and reported directly to the CFO and CEO.

1995 - 1996 Manager HR Marketing, Deutsche Lufthansa GmbH, Frankfurt - Germany
In this position I was responsible for all personnel marketing activities worldwide. Especially crucial was the worldwide recruiting of highly qualified graduates for the various trainee programs.

1991 - 1995 Human Resources Manager, Philip Morris GmbH, Munich - Germany
After passing a HR trainee program I took over the position as a Human Resources Supervisor for labour law in the Munich plant. Then I was promoted to a Manager Training and Development also in the Munich plant. I was responsible for all training activities for nearly 800 employees and a budget of over 250 TEuro. Again I was promoted to a Personnel Manager in recently aquired Dresden plant. In this function I was in charge of all personnel related issues for nearly 600 employees. The headcount of my department was 15 employees.

- Completed study of Business Administration at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (major subjects: Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology)
- Completed training program in Human Resources at Philip Morris
